Ugene Laboratory Deemed Essential Business during COVID-19 Outbreak

Singapore – Ugene Laboratory Services Pte Ltd., the premier food testing laboratory in Singapore, announced today that it has been deemed as an essential business during the COVID-19 virus outbreak.
According to Eunice Ng, Technical Director at Ugene Lab, “We have been deemed by the Singapore government to be an essential business. We are committed to remaining open during this difficult time. The COVID-19 outbreak has affected many across the world and in Singapore, and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve our customers. In response to the outbreak, we have adjusted our day to day operations, so that, we can operate in a safe and sound manner throughout the outbreak. In addition to changing employees work schedules and working hours, we have put in place other controls and practices (e.g. social distancing, masks, etc.) to protect our employees.”
