Ugene Laboratory Appoints Dr. Chen Huayi as General Manager

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Chen Huayi as the new General Manager.

Dr. Chen brings over two decades of exceptional experience in the field of Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) Prior to joining our team, he served in pivotal positions at prestigious organizations including TuV Sud and Intertek. He was also a researcher at the National University of Singapore between 1998 and 2006..

In addition to his distinguished career in TIC, Dr. Chen holds the esteemed position of Technical Auditor of the Singapore Accreditation Council Singapore Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (SAC SINGLAS), a testament to his unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards of laboratory practices.

In his capacity as General Manager, Dr. Chen will lead the Laboratory in its ongoing mission to provide accurate, reliable, and timely testing services. He will support the board with the strategic direction of the laboratory, with a focus on expanding our testing capabilities, and strengthening collaborations with industry stakeholders.
