Ugene Laboratory Appoints Dr. Chen Huayi as Data Protection Officer (DPO)

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Chen Huayi, in addition to his current role as a General Manager, as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) of Ugene Laboratory Services Pte ltd effective 21 July 2023.

As our organization continues to grow, safeguarding the privacy and security of personal data is of utmost importance to us. In this regard, the role of the DPO is vital in ensuring compliance with data protection laws and fostering a culture of data privacy within our company.

Dr. Chen has been a valuable member of our team, and we believe that his expertise he will support the Company to ensure compliance with PDPA, managing personal data protection- related queries and complaints and alerting management to any risks that might arise with regard to personal data.

Dr. Chen will be the primary point of contact for any queries or concerns related to data protection from both employees and external parties.
