Ugene Laboratory Fully Automates Media Production

Singapore – Ugene Laboratory Services Pte Ltd., the premier food testing laboratory in Singapore, announced today that it has fully automated its lab media production. As part of the company’s automation initiative, Ugene Lab invested in the Synbiosis AutoCOL system, a fully automated counting system enabling accurate and traceable colony counts.
According to Eunice Ng, Technical Director at Ugene Lab, “We are excited about our recent purchase of the AutoCOL system. This will dramatically improve the efficiency of testing, while maintain our requirement and high standard for precise, accurate test results. Due to customer growth, this automation is needed to cope with increased customer demand for our services.”
